River of Glass is a humble,down to earth glass blowing studio (hot shop) located near the Clinton River in the quaint and historic city of Mount Clemens, Michigan. Here,students and glass artists of various skill levels,as well as guest artists recognized worldwide learn,teach,and exibit their skills in this ancient, mysterious and captivating art form.
Learning to blow glass can be one of the most satisfying and rewarding (and at times the most frustrating) learning experiences you will have in your life. those who stick with it become truly addicted to this beautiful and hypnotizing work.
Many others come to watch out of curiosity only to find themselves mesmerized by the transformation of what looks like a glowing hot glob of vaseline on the end of a blowpipe,into a beautiful work of artglass.
